RV-STREAMRELAY Part of Rogue Vikings Open dashboard

Terms of service

Last updated 2 September 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you use RV-StreamRelay. They are written to be read.

Who you are contracting with

RV-StreamRelay is operated by Rogue Vikings, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. Contact: roguevikings@outlook.com.

What we provide

RV-StreamRelay takes one incoming stream from your encoder and forwards it, without re-encoding, to the platforms you have connected. Your video is passed through and not transcoded. No copy is kept, unless you switch clip recording on — then the relay holds a temporary recording of your most recent stream so the clip editor has something to cut from, replaced by your next stream and deleted within 48 hours.

Your plan sets how many destinations you can use at once, how much bandwidth is included each month, and the ingest resolution ceiling. Those numbers are on the pricing page and in your dashboard, and the dashboard's figure is the one that counts.

Your account

You sign in with Discord. You are responsible for keeping that account secure, and for everything done through it. Tell us promptly if you think it has been taken over.

RV-StreamRelay is sold through the Rogue Vikings Content Creator programme. You need an active place in it to buy or use the relay. You do not need it to cancel, to get a refund, or to fix a failed payment — stopping payment is never gated on your standing with us.

Your bandwidth allowance

The allowance is the data the relay sends out on your behalf: your bitrate, times hours live, times destinations. Your dashboard shows it live.

When the allowance is spent, we do not cut off a stream that is already running. The next stream is refused instead, with the reason, and the allowance resets on your billing date. You can upgrade at any point to raise it.

What you may not do

The platforms you stream to have their own rules — some restrict simulcasting, and some require comparable quality across the platforms you simulcast to. You stream under your own accounts and your own keys, so those rules are between you and them. Read them.

Your content is yours

We claim no ownership of anything you stream or clip. We hold your clips only so you can download and post them, and we delete them — the rendered file included — when you delete them.

If you switch on the public creator showcase, you are asking us to display what it says it displays. You can switch it off again.

Payment

Plans are monthly or annual, charged in advance through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay, and every invoice is in your billing page, which you can open from your dashboard at any time.

Cancellation and refunds have their own page: cancellation and refunds. In short: cancel any time and keep access to the end of the period you paid for; within 24 hours of a first subscription we refund the bandwidth you did not use.

If we change a price, existing subscribers are told before it applies to them, and you can cancel rather than accept it.

What we promise, and what we do not

We run RV-StreamRelay on dedicated hardware we control, and we work to keep it up. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not going to pretend otherwise on a page you might rely on.

If the relay fails and it costs you a stream, tell us. We would rather put it right than argue about a clause.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can cancel at any time, from your dashboard, without asking us.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, that is used unlawfully, or that charges back a payment rather than asking for a refund. Where it is not urgent we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

If we end your account for something other than a breach, we refund the unused part of what you have paid.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away rights your own country's law gives you and does not stop you bringing a claim where you live. It settles which law applies when nothing else decides it.

Changes

We will update these terms as the product changes. Material changes are announced before they take effect, and the date at the top always says when this page last changed.

How to reach us

Email roguevikings@outlook.com. That address is monitored, and it is the right one for billing, refunds, privacy requests and anything that has gone wrong.

The Rogue Vikings Discord is usually faster for a question, and it is where the people who run the relay are. Use email for anything you want a record of.
